gum disease are two most prevalent chronic diseases in the oral cavity. The disease depends on the microorganisms that exist in the plaque. So plaque control is a very important part of disease prevention and good
dental health.
Dental plaque as an entity called variable structure that is very special circuait formed by the colonization of microorganisms on the tooth surface. Natural physiological strength cleaning the oral cavity is not able to remove dental plaque.
So that control is a way to remove plaque and prevent plaque accumulation. This is the main levels in the prevention of tooth and gum disease.
