Why Bruxism Occurs?

Bruxism, clenching and that teeth grinding is a movement disorder that has no schedule and is involuntary. It affects between 10% to 20% of the population giving both men and women. It is destructive to the dental structures, muscles and jaw joints. The main cause of this disorder is stress, a symptom common in today’s society, causing symptoms such as headache, feel tired jaw, pain in the masticatory muscles, wear on the teeth, among others.

Against this background the Extension Center Clinica Santa Maria will perform a free talk next Tuesday July 27th at 19:00 pm: “Bruxism, a bad involuntary” by Dr. William Flores, Unit Dentistry.

Dr. William Flores, Dentist, Dental Unit of the Clinic Santa Maria explains that “from the point of view has no bruxism dental treatment, what do the dentist to prevent damage by using intraoral devices and treatment of injury caused by the bad habit. ”

Dental Pain to the Face

Whenever the pain symptoms appear, it must be carried out checks on the entire spectrum of the nerves to properly diagnose the cause. Pain in the face of apparently caused by dental caries. Basically the pain is entirely subjective. It was difficult to define and describe. This is an unpleasant experience on nearly everyone.

Cause of Dental Pain

The cause of the pain may be as simple as a toothache that started with dental caries or tooth fall out. Instead the pain may be more complicated because it requires further examination. Pain is described as unpleasant stimulus that was felt by the conscious mind.

Perception of pain starts from the conduction of electro-chemical power in the painful area to the brain.

Dental Pain Cannot Heal By Itself

Many myths and tips to overcome sore tooth that spread from mouth to mouth. There is a right, but not least also the plunge. All this is a result of the dentist profession which is still considered to be scary, and the assumption that a dentist must be sick. Therefore it needs to be straightened misconceptions about how to deal with a toothache, especially if the information is inaccurate and without any solid foundation of medical aspects.

First of all need to borne in mind, dental pain is not completed by simply consuming “pain killer.” Toothache caused by bacterial infection, and painkillers (analgesics) did not kill the bacteria but it can only help ease the pain that accompanies a tooth infection. IBHS is only temporary, after missing drug reactions may be related dental pain can be even more sick than ever. Or if the continuous analgesic medication each time a mainstay toothache came while the untreated teeth, and will deteriorate and die (become non-vital teeth).
