If you frequently travel by plane or had a hobby of diving, you should diligently check your teeth to the dentist, so as not to hit barodontalgia.

Barodontalgia is a phenomenon whereby a person experiences a toothache at the moment is at a height such as when flying or diving at a certain depth beneath the sea. This phenomenon has become known since World War II, where the crew were attacked by toothache during flight. However, this phenomenon was also found in the divers, and then note the pressure difference plays an important role in this incident.

Getting Know With Periodontal Disease

The word “periodontal” literally means around the tooth. Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease is a chronic bacterial infection that can damage the gums and bone supporting the teeth. If left untreated, can lead to tooth loss.
The periodontist is a dentist who specialized in the treatment of periodontal disease.

The main cause of periodontal disease is bacteria and toxins that are found in bacterial plaque on teeth, is a sticky film, Yellowish White that constantly forms on teeth. The buildup of this plaque can lead to the initial form of the disease, gingivitis. During this stage, the gum tissue is having inflammation, turn red and bleed easily, causing little or no discomfort. Gingivitis is reversible receiving professional periodontal treatment and good home with good oral hygiene technique. Without this attention, the question will be in risk of developing more severe forms of periodontal disease.

After doctors told her the joyous occasion, a pregnant mother (who often perform jobs such as domestic work) involved in many extra activities such as attending the birth clinic donation, buy baby clothes, may change the atmosphere of the house to accommodate a baby. Therefore can be understood if she delayed to check her teeth to the dentist.
