Unwittingly, some habits are often done, can cause rapid tooth is damaged. Not only cause pain in the tooth itself, its impact also triggered various problems of the gum and even the jawbone.

Because erroneous assumptions, habits that often do not realize the danger. Chewing gum containing xyltol for example, is considered good for oral health but it can trigger sore jaw.

Fish Oil Prevents Dental Disease

After a five-year study conducted in Japan with older participants, it was observed that fish oil helps fight infection and strengthens oral health in the process.

Dental examinations revealed that the absence in the diets of people of essential fatty acids omega-3 found in fish oil was strongly associated with the progression of periodontal diseases.

The consumption of yogurt can help prevent dental diseases such as periodontitis. according to an article published in the Journal of Periodontology ‘, said the Plan of Nutrition, Health and Communication Dairy

This beneficial effect of yogurt consumption is associated with microorganisms (Lactobacillus) in yogurt and other dairy products do not contain as milk. People who have a high gag reflex often encounter difficulties when seeing a dentist, or even when brushing your teeth every day. Actually, everyone has a gag reflex which is a normal body reaction to prevent choking when foreign substances or dangerous objects into the upper respiratory tract and lungs. Gag reflex will occur when certain areas untouched in the oral cavity, including the palate (especially the rear), the back of the tongue, tonsils and part of the tip area of the throat. This reflex in some people so sensitive that it is difficult to receive dental care because they feel like throwing up when entering dental instruments (eg glass mouth) into the oral cavity. So also when going to brush my teeth, especially back teeth.

A hypersensitive gag reflex was triggered by a factor of physiology, psychology, or a combination of both, but in general, psychological factors play a larger role. It is possible that these people have experienced past trauma such as when seeing a dentist so that there are certain areas more easily experienced gag reflex.
